The habits you form now will dictate the kind of church you are later.
Often church planters think that they’ll start reaching people once they launch or they’ll start doing service projects once they have a bigger crowd or they’ll take a day off once things slow down a bit. I’ve seen many planters make that commitment and never get there. Start those habits now. Take a Sabbath. Do a service project with just you and your family (how about buying one of those small helium tanks from WalMart and passing out balloons at the front door?). Talk to your neighbor about Christ? Why wait? You won’t suddenly have more time or energy later… start doing today what you want to be characterized by tomorrow.
